JAMES R. GREUPNER

Retired Shareholder

"I understand the legal needs and issues confronting a closely held business owner. Through my years of representation, I have learned how to add value in a cost effective and solution oriented way. My role is to identify and simplify issues and solve them."

For over 37 years, Jim has provided legal and business advice to family owned and closely held businesses and their owners. In many cases, this representation spans multiple generations. During that time he has encountered and successfully addressed the legal needs and issues faced by a closely held business and its owners from inception to exit.

Jim's expertise extends across a wide range of legal and business matters including strategic planning, business selection, formation and funding; tax, estate and succession planning; shareholder agreements and transactions, contracts, mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses; and private placement of securities.

Jim has also been and continues to be actively involved in the management of several successful businesses, both as a board member and as an executive manager. This experience allows him a uniquely practical and business-oriented perspective in solving issues confronting his clients. Additional resources are available through Siegel Brill's Real Estate and Succession, Tax and Estate Planning practices.
