RECENT TRUCKING ACCIDENT STORIES

• A 38 year old motorcyclist was struck by a commercial truck in the Rochester area, resulting in the loss of one of the man’s legs. The $3.5 million dollars that John recovered for his client helped pay his significant medical costs and helped alleviate the concern about his loss of future earning capacity.

• A 45 year old single homemaker and mother of two children was killed when a semi-truck struck the vehicle she was driving in Western Minnesota. The recovery for that case was $2.6 million dollars. The money was placed in a trust and will go towards the financial support of the children and to compensate them for the loss of the relationship.

• A 6 year old boy was riding in the front passenger seat of his uninsured father’s vehicle in eastern Minnesota near Stillwater when the vehicle in which he was riding smashed into the back of a large commercial truck. As a result, the boy sustained injuries that caused cognitive impairment, vision impairment and facial scarring. The $1 million dollar award will compensate him for future loss of earnings.
